Staff Nurse – Henley-on-Thames - £20.66 ph
Days & Night Available

Our client, based in Henley-on-Thames, is currently seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse to join their experienced and friendly team at an esteemed elderly/dementia nursing home. This home is part of a prestigious care group that leads the market in professionally run homes based on an ethos of integrity and care. They make sure all members of staff are fully trained and supported, and provide the service users with a range of activities and facilities to encourage their well-being.
As Staff Nurse, you will work as part of a team to deliver excellent, person-centred care to the elderly residents of the home. You will also be responsible for administering medication, personal care, maintaining patient records and developing therapeutic relationships with the residents.
Staff Nurse Duties:
• Assess patient’s health and well being across a complex and changing caseload
• Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals health and wellbeing needs
• Provide and receive complex, sensitive or contentious information
• Develop own knowledge and skills and that of others
• Promote best practices as a Staff Nurse - RGN/ RMN/ RNLD in health and safety and security
• Assist in maintaining and developing services
• Contribute to quality improvement
• Work autonomously with minimum supervision
• Applying clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Relevant Qualifications & Experience:
• Staff Nurse – RGN/RMN/ RNLD will be successful at working in teams
• Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
• Posses training requirements for Staff Nurse – RGN/RMN/ RNLD role
• Including infection control and health and safety competencies
• Demonstrate principles of accountable practice as a Staff Nurse – RGN/RMN/ RNLD
• Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement
• Effective interpersonal communication and influencing skills
• Strong business acumen as well as the ability to plan and maintain organisation
• Nursing and Midwifery Council registration and regulation
• Empathy for vulnerable and sick patients
