A large elderly and dementia nursing home in Skelmersdale currently has a vacancy for a Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to work full-time nights on a permanent basis.

Details of this Night Nurse role and what the home has to offer:

• A permanent contract of 36 hours per week on nights, with overtime available

• Great hourly pay rates of £16.89 which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates and equates to an annual salary in the region of £31,600

• Excellent training and development opportunities including support with NMC revalidation

As Night Staff Nurse, you will coordinate and implement care plans, manage and administer medications and ensure that a high quality clinical and personal care service is maintained, working in collaboration with the HCAs on duty.

The skills, experience and qualifications required for this Night Nurse post:

• NMC Registered Nurse – Adult Nurse/RGN/RN1/RNA or Mental Health Nurse/RMN/RMHN

• Demonstrate some post-registration experience

• Ideally experienced working in a UK care home setting or demonstrate a genuine interest in working with this client group

• Enthusiastic, motivated and committed to delivering the highest standards of care
