We are working with a large care provider that operate a portfolio of care homes across Scotland and are looking for a confident and experienced Home Manager to take on the full day to day operations of a service in Glasgow. This is a established home that is looking for a strong hands on Nurse Qualified Home Manager who is capable of  improving the homes current C.I ratings and to work closely with the staffing team whilst improving the homes standing in the local area, the home  provides nursing &  dementia care for elderly people.

The company are looking for a new manager who is confident in their ability to lead a good staffing team in a medium sized home to maintain and increase the current C.I. ratings. The role itself will require an excellent individual with clear understanding of management, the ability to make decisions and to lead the home and its staff.  The home also offers:

The Candidate

The successful candidate must be an experienced, committed and personable manager who is capable of turning around homes, they must also have a genuine passion for elderly care. The client requires someone who has worked within an elderly care home and has good commercial knowledge.

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that their focus is to provide high quality care. This position requires a commercially aware person who can recruit, retain and motivate a competent staff team, as well as being comfortable with budgeting and ensure the home goes above and beyond to provide outstanding care for its residents. The home is in the process of being acquired so would need a strong and flexible Home Manager.

This role is based in Glasgow, commutable from Edinburgh, Falkirk, East Linton, Livingston and Dunfermline

Interview Process

First stage: Informal telephone conversation with Recruitment Manager

Second stage: Formal zoom meeting with competency questions with Recruitment Manager and Regional Director

Summary

The successful candidate will have experience turning around homes and improving C.I. gradings and increasing the homes standing in the local area.  In exchange, my client is offering a salary package of up to £55k p.a  and company bonus schemes.
