£50 60k pro rata.
Job Type: Part time Temporary contract for 3 months

Amber Mace is currently recruiting for an Interim nurse qualified manager to work with a fantastic care provider. This is a fantastic service that provides care for service users with a various needs and requirements.

As nursing home Manager, you will oversee the general day-to-day running of the service. You will be a strong authoritative presence, and will support the team at a managerial level, with the assistance of the Deputy Manager and Rota Co-ordinator.

The Role of Care Manager:
• Ensure CQC compliance and standards are met
• Training and monitoring of staff members
• Conduct initial assessments and reviews of care
• Ensure the provision of appropriate levels of assistance at all times for all residents and service users
• Develop the care business in the local community
• Ensure up-to-date and accurate records are kept on residents and service users
• Manage recruitment, training and induction for new starters

Skills/ Qualifications required of the Care Manager:
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proven ability to lead and supervise a team
• Have a clear and thorough knowledge of the CQC standards.
