Job Description
Endoscopy Practitioner
Edgbaston
Linq Healthcare have partnered with a leading private hospital based in Edgbaston who are looking for a full time Endoscopy Practitioner to join their department. The hospital has 55 beds, all rooms offer the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities. The hospital has three theatres and a dedicated endoscopy suite. These facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services, enable the hospital to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to surgery.

This is a full-time role with a flexible shift pattern and applications from candidates seeking part time work may be considered.
The successful candidate will be a qualified practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration must be able to use their skills and knowledge to work well within a team, adopt a flexible and collaborative approach at all times.
Desired skills and experience:
- Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC registration.
- Basic and advanced Competence / qualification in Endoscopy Care and Decontamination.
- Operators Course in Endoscopy Decontamination.
- Teaching / Assessing / mentorship qualifications Knowledge of appropriate standards and external bodies (Care Quality Commission, GRS, JAG, HTM 01 -06).
- ILS.
- Maths, English GCSE at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
- Proficient in the use of a PC, including the use of software and systems.
