Staff Nurse - Private Cosmetic Hospital

£26,000 - £30,000 per annum

The Client                          

Compass Associates are working alongside an independent cosmetic hospital in Greater Manchester who have recently undergone a huge refurbishment and rebrand and now require experienced Nurses to join their team working on the wards. The hospital has 2 theatres and covers a wide range of specialties including rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, liposuction, weight loss surgery and non-surgical treatments including injectables and aesthetics.  

The hospital has a well-established staff team including an experienced team of Cosmetic Surgeons who travel from all over the world to operate in their renowned cosmetic hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified Nurse who is keen to get into the cosmetic sector and really develop and grow their career with a fantastic and supportive business.  

The Role                  

As a Registered Nurse you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team ensuring that all patients booked in for elective surgery are provided with the highest standards of care. You will be responsible for caring for all surgical patients upon admission, immediately post-operatively right up to their discharge.  

You will work closely with the Ward Sisters and the Ward Manager to provide clinical leadership and support to Junior Nurses and HCA's and be accountable to the Hospital Director. You will help transport patients to their recovery rooms and monitor and care for them. You will be required to change patients dressings, administer medications and follow any post-operative care instructions given by the surgeon.    

Summary  

Our client is seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 12 months post-registration experience working in a hospital environment. As well as a generous salary of up to £30,000 per annum, the client is also offering excellent benefits such as 33 days annual leave, contributory pension scheme, free parking, private medical insurance and a 30% uplift on any hours worked on a weekend.
