Purosearch are recruiting for a Unit Manager to work in a large Care Home with nursing in Henley-On-Thames. The service has a GOOD' CQC rating and an excellent reputation with the local community. The Unit is busy and requires a knowledgeably proactive Unit Manager that is able to lead the team and bring ideas to the table.
Unit Manager candidates should be experienced Nurse's. RGN / RMN candidates are considered. This is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Nurse to develop their career. You will oversee junior Nurses, Carers and oversee care delivery. You will oversee care planning and ensure care to elderly people is delivered to the highest standard.

The successful Unit Manager will have the following skills and experience:
• RGN/RMN
• Willingness to coach, guide and support a team
• Line management experience with confidence to manage staff issues as they arise; delegating or escalating as required
• Adept at identifying and eradicating clinical poor practice and working with internal/external stakeholders to maintain the highest standards of clinical excellence
• Ability to present findings and make recommendations in a concise, accurate and clear way
• Previous experience within a nursing home environment with patients/residents which have nursing needs

Unit Lead candidates should have worked previously as a: Unit Lead, Senior Nurse, Nurse, RGN, RMN, Nurse Manager, Nursing Care Manager etc
