My client requires a dedicated Staff Nurse to work within a purpose built nursing home in Dundee. The home specialises in providing Dementia & Palliative Care to the elderly, and offers a modern and supportive environment with en-suite bedrooms, relaxing lounge areas and its own immaculate gardens which provide residents with a lovely space to enjoy. You will have excellent clinical skills and a naturally caring approach.

The home is part of one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK providing care across both nursing homes as well as hospitals. The company can offer care for those aged 18+ and also has a sector developed to acute mental health care. Internal promotion is heavily encouraged throughout the company and senior vacancies are sent out to the internal team first.

Staff Nurse Skills and responsibilities
Monitoring blood sugar levels and IV
Wound management
Administering oxygen
Putting together treatment plans
Overseeing a team of care assistants
Liaising with GP and multi-disciplinary team
