A welcome subsidy of \u00a31000 is available to all Band 5 and Band 6 Nurses, Midwives, ODPs and Radiographers taking up substantive employment with the Trust.

This post is subject to a satisfactory DBS clearance and as a result, you will be required to pay the associated fee of \u00a340.00. This fee will be deducted from your second month's salary.

Qualifications
Essential criteria

• •First Level Registration •Neonatal Critical Care qualification •Teaching / mentorship qualification •Neonatal Life Support Provider •Safeguarding level 3

Desirable criteria

• •Enhanced Nursing Skills Qualification (ENP) •Degree in relevant health related subject •Leadership qualification •NLS Instructor

Experience
Essential criteria

• •Experience of neonatal ITU nursing in a NICU or LNU •Shift leader experience at band 6 •Transferring infants between departments internally •Experience of being involved in governance processes which help to development the service and measure quality

Desirable criteria

• •Experience of surgical neonatal nursing •Transferring infants externally

Knowledge
Essential criteria

• •Awareness of professional issues •Understanding of decision making processes and how to use these to ensure optimum service delivery

Skills
Essential criteria

• •Organised and able to prioritise work •Ability to be calm under pressure and work through challenges in a methodical and safe manner •Basic IT skills

Desirable criteria

• •Budgetary skills •Intermediate IT skills
