We are working with a care provider that operate a portfolio of care homes across the North West. They're a business that provides high quality care for younger adults and elderly people in luxury, purpose built services that are tailored to ensure residents are made to feel at home.  

Due to recent expansion within the business, my client is looking for a Residential Care Manager to support the Registered Manager in a stunning, large sized care home that provides nursing, residential and dementia care for elderly people. This is a beautiful building that is currently undergoing a hierarchy change to ensure that talented and caring people are rewarded for their hard work. The group feel it necessary to bring in a Residential Manager to support the Home Manager in managing their residential dementia unit which will allow the home to run smoothly and have the best opportunity to become successful.  

You will be expected to do the following

Support the Home Manager with building relationships with key professional across the area

Employing and inducting new staff, managing rotas, supervisions and disciplinaries

Improving the profile of the home and the residential unit to allow for successful admissions.

Managing the day to day running of the Unit and report into the Home Manager

Deliver adequate and safe training to all staff member where necessary

The Candidate

This role is a great opportunity for a current Deputy or Home Manager, with experience of working within elderly care. The right candidate will have extensive experience of caring and working with elderly people and comfortable to manage the unit efficiently and effectively, ensuring that the home is  fully compliant with regulatory boards.  

My client desires someone who has great leadership skills and who will be loyal to the home and its development. We are looking for someone who can motivate the staff team to work to the best of their ability and can show compassion and care with residents.

Good CQC knowledge

Current Deputy or Home Manager

Excellent Leadership skills

This role is based near Preston, Lancashire and is commutable from Lancaster, Blackpool, Fleetwood, Chorley, Southport, Blackburn, Accrington & Ormskirk

Stage two: Face to face informal: Home Manager, Quality Manager & Operations Director

Summary -  

My client is seeking a current Deputy or Home Manager with experience of caring for elderly people, where the successful candidate can lead and inspire a team to provide high quality care. In exchange, my client is offering a salary up to £38k p.a. for 40 hours per week.
