A leading Milton Keynes hospital is currently looking to recruit an RGN or ODP to work in a scrub role in their day case unit.

Details of this Theatre Scrub Nurse or ODP positions are as follows:

• A permanent contract to work 37.5 hours per week on flexible day shifts Monday to Saturday

• A competitive annual salary in the region of £26,000 to £34,000 depending on experience (or the pro-rata equivalent for part time)

As RGN or ODP Theatre Scrub, you will work in the busy theatres team and will deliver safe and high-quality peri-operative care to patients undergoing a range of day case procedures.

Applicants for this Theatre Scrub Nurse or ODP vacancy should meet the following criteria:

• Adult Nurse/RGN with NMC registration or Theatre Practitioner/ODP with HCPC registration

• At least 12 months experience working as a theatre scrub, with experience undertaking a range of procedures

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills and work well in a team

• Ideally have successfully completed an Advanced Scrub Practitioner/Surgical First Assist qualification and/or a recognised mentorship qualification or be willing to undertake these
