Role: Emergency Treatment Room Nurses - OH
Salary: £35,000
Hours: Full time (8am-4pm), some unsociable hours
Location: Taunton

Amber Mace is working with an established Occupational Health provider looking to expand their team of Emergency Treatment Room Nurses in Taunton. Our client provides effective service and advice on work related issues and health surveillance programmes, including emergency response, treatment service, risk assessments and drug&alcohol testing.

The location operates 24/7 and candidates are therefore required to work shifts, including day shift, night shift and split shifts. Unsocial hour rates will be paid accordingly.

Role duties:
• You will be responsible for providing pre-employment medicals and assessments
• Carry out Drug and Alcohol testing
• Carry out fitness for work medicals
• Undertake health screening procedures, including blood pressure, urinalysis, height and weight
• Ensure all information recorded appropriately, and equipment clean and in order
• Provide advice and activities regarding occupational health and wellbeing
• Work together with the Occupational Health team to provide the best service


Requirements for the role:
Essential
• RGN or qualification in Adult Nursing
• A&E experience
• Immediate Life Support (RCUK)
• Advanced Life Support (RCUK)
• Great interpersonal and communication skills, including presentation skills for delivery of group health promotion initiatives/meetings
• Good judgement and decision making skills.

Desirable
• Speciality qualification in OH, or previous OH experience.
• Experience of working in the pre-hospital environment (ambulance services, events, etc.)
