Work as Clinical Lead Nurse within a stunning, brand-new care service in Bramhall, Stockport. The purpose built facility is registered to provide nursing care and rehabilitation to 70 residents aged 18+ who have a variety of care needs. The service opens its doors in March 2020 and meets all CQC requirements and provides the highest standards of safety, comfort and care to residents.
This is a fast paced environment and is a step down service from the hospital before patients are discharged back home, the average stay of patients is between 1 - 3 weeks.
The role of Clinical Lead Nurse is a full time, permanent supernumery position working 3 days one week and 4 the next. The role includes alternate weekends and a contract of 43 hours which includes paid breaks and handover time as the shifts are 7.45am - 8pm. The salary is at a competitive £19ph, the annual salary is £42,365
You will be one of 2 Clinical Leads within the service, reporting directly to the Registered Home Manager. We are seeking to appoint an experienced Registered Nurse - RGN Qualified, ideally with supervisory experience and experience working in hospitals and care homes.
This supernumery role will be to manage the admissions and discharges, reviewing documentation and ensuring high standards of clinical care are being provided.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring that the company provides high quality, client focused care. You will assist with the management of the clinical area within the Home, occasionally working on the floor if needed and leading by example.
Skills and experience required to work as Clinical Lead Nurse:
- 1st Level Nurse, RGN Qualified
- Nursing home and hospital experience
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, and ability to work on own initiative.
- Excellent clinical skills including catheter care and venepuncture
- Ability to communicate effectively and build lasting relationships
- Proficient computer skills in word, excel and in house systems.
- Good team worker
