Chemotherapy Nurse - Community Home Care - RGN    

£30,000 - £38,000 plus Company Car or Car Allowance, Private Health Cover, Pension Scheme, Golden Handshake & More

Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a leading Healthcare organisation, who develop innovative solutions for patients to have quality clinical care delivered in the comfort of their own homes. At present, we are in search for qualified Chemotherapy Nurses to join their team of professionals in the London Region.

           

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chemotherapy Nurse looking for a new opportunity within a community environment. Our client is looking for someone who has extensive experience in the medical field, who is competent in the administration of IV therapies, venepuncture and cannulation.            

       

Benefits:      

- Salary up to £38,000            

- Bonus after 6 months service      

- Enhancements 30% Saturday, 60% Sunday and 30% after 8pm      

- Fully expensed company car and fuel card OR car allowance of £4,250 per annum plus mileage

The Role              

As a Chemotherapy Homecare Nurse, you will be responsible for travelling around the London area, providing safe, high quality nursing care, administering a range of IV therapies in the comfort of the patient's home. Excellent communication skills and a compassionate nature is key in this role, as you will build lasting personal relationships with patients and their support network, in order to aid and support their treatment and recovery.                

              

This is a full-time position consisting of 37.5 hours per week, which will be worked Monday - Friday. You will also be entitled to weekend and evening enhancements, if you decide to work additional shifts.                   

Requirements  

- RGN qualification            

- NMC registration                

- Competent in the administration of IV therapies, venepuncture and cannulation         

- Previous experience within cancer care          

- Chemotherapy trained             

- Well-developed interpersonal skills              

- Excellent communication skills               

- Patient focussed             

- Passion for high quality patient care                 

     

Location

This role is mobile, you will be expected to cover North London in your day to day work.
