Deputy Nursing Home Manager (RGN/RMN)
Purosearch are currently looking for an excellent Deputy Nursing Home Manager to support in managing and developing a Nursing Home team in the delivery of high quality care and service hand in hand with the Nursing Home Manager.
This is a fantastic time to join my client as a Deputy Nursing Home Manager as the company have one of the best reputations within the North West. My client are a smaller than average company, and this role is brand new in supporting a brand new home which has opened in the Kirkby area of Merseyside.
The Deputy Nursing Home Manager will report into the Home Manager and you will be expected to deliver operational and commercial success in collaboration with the Senior Management team. Within this role, you will work a mixture of on the floor and supernumerary hours. On call will be expected and it is based on a rota system amongst the senior leadership team.
Role and Responsibilities of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager:
The Deputy Home Manager will be a passionate and caring social care professional and will ideally be working as a Senior Nurse, Unit Manager or a Deputy Manager at present. This could also be the perfect opportunity for an experienced home manager to take a step down! The successful Deputy Nursing Home Manager will display a willingness to work alongside your team on the floor and display best practise is a must as is the ability to complete supernumerary hours in the office alongside and in the absence of the Registered Manager.
Experience Required of the Deputy Nursing Home Manager:
The Deputy Care Home Manager will have experience of working in an elderly nursing home setting and be experienced in producing well developed care plans. The Deputy Home Manager will have worked with and mentored a small care team and have a track record of supporting more junior staff. The successful Deputy Manager will also be a Registered Nurse with Current NMC PIN and will have excellent clinical skills.
In return the successful Deputy Nursing Home Manager will receive an excellent hourly rate of £21 per hour, and have access to on-going training and development. Essential Qualifications and Experience:
• Nurse qualified - RGN / RMN - Active Pin no restrictions.
• Experience at senior level - managing small teams of people.
• Excellent communication skills.
• NVQ level 5 (or working towards).
• Up to date clinical skills.
• Previous experience working in a senior position within a Nursing Home environment.
