Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General/Adult Nurse with experience or specific interest in Mental Health to support their RMN colleagues and join our client's Secure Rehabilitation Mental Health Unit situated in St Neots, on the A1 motorway on the border of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
There are male and female-specific wards; this is a full-time post but we are also also open to hearing from applicants who may be interested in negotiating a part-time opportunity.

Our client is a major provider of UK independent mental health care. The Hospital provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation for male and female patients suffering from a broad range of neuropsychiatric conditions or functional disorders.

The successful candidate will undertake and manage direct patient care, co-ordinating the planning and delivery of specialist clinics provided for patient's health care needs, i.e. GPs, phlebotomy, dietetics, podiatry, physiotherapy, PMMC (Psychotropic Medication Monitoring Clinic) and CPMS (Clozaril Patients Monitoring Service).

Person requirements :
Registered Nurse with full Adult/General NMC registration.

A minimum of two year's post-registration as a RGN and ideally some exposure to mental health patients
An understanding of the UK Mental Health Act.
