Join our team as a Registered Nurse and be involved in the care not only of our long term residents but also the dynamic environment of our NHS partnership Rehabilitation Service. Working with the hospital, community and social services teams the service aims to return adults, typically following acute trauma, back to independent living.

Matt and the team at Hartismere Place are seeking a compassionate and experienced nurse to join their team. Hartismere place is based in Eye within easy reach of Suffolk’s major towns. With 60 bedrooms offering specialised nursing and dementia care, you will be joining a pro-active and happy team that are dedicated to delivering person centred care and helping residents fulfil their lives.
What you’ll do
Leading the care team during your shifts, you will make certain that we fully meet residents’ medical, physical and emotional requirements. Ensuring compliance with our clinical governance framework, you will mentor and motivate colleagues, champion residents’ safety and dignity and drive continuous improvement, whilst acting as Named Nurse for your own portfolio of service users.Within the home you will be expected to provide care for a number of different needs including the rehabilitation of people who have fractures or had a deterioration in their health and have increased support needs, including relearning skills required to enable them to return home.
Who you are
An NMC Registered General Nurse, you will be well versed in care planning processes and fully familiar with clinical assessment tools. You will be keen to develop your leadership skills and clinical knowledge, capable of building close relationships with residents and their families, and determined to drive continuous improvement. An interest in orthopaedics would prove an advantage.
