Job Description

Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) – £18.45 per hour – day shifts (long or split)

We are recruiting For a Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) for a patient focused nursing home, nestled in a quiet village between Oxford and Reading.

As a leading provider of elderly care, this nursing home is looking for highly skilled and dedicated nurses to help improve patient outcomes and be an ambassador for the service.

Education, Skills and qualifications - Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)

·Valid NMC Pin (Adult/General Nurse/Mental Health Nurse/Learning Disability Nurse)

-Due to the home's location, own transport is essential

·Prior experience in a similar setting would be desirable

·Excellent communication skills

·Great team working skills

·A calm, compassionate nature

Job Role: Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)

·Ensure that comprehensive, individualised care plans are in place and are regularly reviewed in accordance with the NMC guidelines and company policy

·Carry out risk assessments for patients

·Make sure that junior staff are trained and able to perform their day to day tasks

·Administer medication

·Liaise with patients’ friends and loved ones

·Provide person-centred care

·Advise on nursing care, infection control and best practice

·Communicate effectively with staff at all levels

·Handle challenging situations calmly

·Participate actively in Multi-Disciplinary Team meetings
