Job Description
Registered General Nurse
Location: Streatham, London
Salary:£18.00ph - £19.00ph (Equivalent to £36,504 - £38,532 per annum)
Hours: 39 available
Time Recruitment are delighted to be leading the search a Registered General Nurse to join a brand new Rehabilitation unit that's recently been opened. This is an excellent opportunity for a Registered General Nurse to work for an independent charity which was set up in 1861 which has been running for over 150 + years.
This service cares for adults with neurological conditions, rehabilitation, severe disabilities, and complex care needs. This is very exciting opportunity for a registered general nurse to join the newly Rehabilitation unit. The stunning traditional service consists of four units it has a total capacity of 80 beds but can accommodate up to 127. The Home also offers palliative care using the recommended national Gold Standard Framework to support this specialist area of nursing.
The Charity is led by the Home Manager and a management team of qualified nurses who are on duty 24 hours a day and assist the registered nurses with excellent staffing to patient ratio's an established multi-disciplinary team. Residents can be registered with our local GP practice which visits the home every day and takes responsibility for providing medical advice to the Home or if they prefer residents can chose to have their own GP.
Registered General Nurse Position Remuneration
* Over time enhancements from £24.00ph up to £25.00ph

Ideal Candidate Requirements
* Experience working in Rehabilitation, palliative care or have neurological experience
* Peg feeding and Catheterisation competent
* A demonstrable passion for caring for the elderly with an infirm flair for helping people maintain their independence and choice in homely surroundings.
* Proven ability to co-ordinate, care and prioritise task and willingness to coach, guide and support your team.
* Committed and flexible to fulfilling the contracted hours
* Active NMC pin
The staff are experienced in caring for people with severe disabilities and life limiting, long-term complex health needs. They care for people who have progressive neurological conditions some of whom may require percutaneous endoscopic gastroscopy (PEG) feeding and who have acquired brain injury.
