We have an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled, motivated, confident and committed Chemotherapy/Oncology Nurse to join our Oncology team. We are looking for a dynamic experienced individual who is productive and patient focused, and is as focused as we are to strive to treat our patients with the best possible care.
About the Role
Our Oncology Macmillan sponsored unit has x4 private en-suite rooms and x5 treatment chairs and treats a variety of cancers including breast, pancreatic, colorectal, urology/ prostate and lung. The individual will need excellent communication skills to network and interact with staff and colleagues at all levels. You will work within a team of skilled chemotherapy nurses as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team and provide continuity of support to patients throughout the cancer pathway. This role will include working with multiple oncology consultants as well as offering specialist support to patients when cancer diagnosis is given, as well as clinical and emotional support to patients. You should have a minimum of three year's oncology experience, with a recognised cancer qualification. The individual will also be experience in the administration of Chemotherapy and have a recognised qualification or evidence of in-house training (UKONS passport) and be competent in the accessing and care of CVAD's.
There will be plenty of opportunities for staff to develop their knowledge and skills with support for on-going professional development to advance your clinical skills and knowledge.

Salary - £20.00 per hour
