We have a new Nurse Practitioner vacancy we're currently advertising for a GP surgery near Morden.
They are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner, who works at a senior level, almost to that of a GP, to join their team on a permanent, part time basis. The work pattern is totally flexible and they have around 15-25 hours available. They can work around childcare and other commitments across the week.
You'll ideally need to have, or be working towards, a MSc in Advanced Practice. The successful candidate will have their V300 Prescribing, Minor Illness experience and be comfortable with telephone triage. Chronic Disease Reviews/QOF experience, a knowledge on Diabetes, Asthma, CHD etc. would be essential, as would the ability to treat 5+ years. You'll be expected to work autonomously, and be confident with your clinical work.
The surgery uses EMIS web, they have free parking available on site for staff members and have around 5,000 patients on their list. Their clinical team is comprised of 4GPs, PN and 2HCAs which are supported by well established managerial team.
If successful for the role, you'll receive a minimum salary of £55,000 (FTE), 6 weeks of annual leave + bank holidays off, NHS pension and Indemnity provided.
