A leading care home in Motherwell is currently recruiting for RGN, RMN and RNLD Registered Nurses to strengthen their nursing team, with full or part-time hours available.
The fully compliant home specialises in caring for young adults/adults of working age who are living with disabilities and neurological conditions in addition to caring for older adults with elderly frailties and dementia care needs.
Details of the Registered Nurse vacancy and what the home has to offer:
• Full or part time contracts of up to 38.5 hours per week, with permanent nights or rotating shifts available covering a 7 day rota
• Excellent pay rates of £16 per hour, which is in line with NHS Band 6 rates and a salary in the region of £32,000 (or the pro-rata equivalent)

As RGN/RMN/RNLD, you will manage and coordinate care for a small caseload of residents and will lead a team of HCAs in the delivery of personal care. You will manage medications and care plans, ensuring residents are regularly assessed and their personal, medical and social needs are met.
Applicants for this Registered Nurse position should meet the following criteria:
• NMC Registered Nurse – Adult/RGN, Mental Health/RMN or Learning Disabilities/RNLD will all be considered
• Demonstrate proven post-registration experience, ideally in an elderly care environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Committed to ensuring the highest standards of resident care and safety
• Confident coordinating and implementing care programmes
Previous experience in a similar environment is preferred but not essential, and the home can offer a comprehensive preceptorship programme to newly qualified nurses.
