Job Description

A Unit Manager role has arisen for a passionate and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse, RMN, to Lead a Mental Health Unit within a small and specialised care and rehabilitation home based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. 42 Hours per week with the flexibility for days and nights required and a salary of £37,455.60 per annum (£17.15 p/h) This is an excellent chance to step into a leadership role with great chances for progression within the service

Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire

Salary: £17.15 per hour (£37,455.60)

Hours: Full time 42 hours

Shifts: Flexibility required for days and nights shifts are 8-8

As a Unit Manager, you will take the role of a senior nurse on duty and have responsibility for a team of nursing and care staff. You will lead by example, delivering hands-on nursing care and providing strong leadership to your team. You will have a person centred ethos and be committed to enriching the lives of the individuals in your care.

At the forefront of clinical care delivery, as a registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) you will be responsible in providing strong leadership to develop and improve the standard of daily living.

Person Specification:

You will be a registered nurse RMN with a valid NMC PIN with a minimum of 2 years mental health experience.

You are a well organised individual with outstanding time management skills and are able to make decisions and work using your own initiative whilst working collaboratively within the nursing/care team.

Most importantly you are motivated by helping every individual, whether colleague or service user, to realise their full potential and be treated with dignity and respect, making every day better.
