Hospital Manager - Mental Health Hospital

Job Title: Hospital Manager

Service Type: Mental Health Residential Home

Location: St Johns Wood

Salary: up to £65,000 per annum plus additional 20% per annum bonus (up to £78,000)

Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week

I'm looking for qualified RMN's from a Hospital background for a management role available in a private mental health hospital and residential unit for patients with enduring mental illness sectioned under the mental health act

This is a 42-bed hospital for patients pre assessment with 5 beds for patients under 60 and the remainder for elderly patients

the Hospital provides care and support for older people with mental health needs, there is no general nursing at this hospital for RMN's. The Hospital is located within walking distance of several tube stations and bus stops.

This site although a hospital does perform much like a traditional care home environment however is much more secure as a service owing to the patient type and challenges they face. All patients are referred from the local authority

As the Hospital Manager, you will lead and influence the staff team, ensuring that your passion and dedication to delivering the highest standards of care is consistently provided throughout all roles. Forming positive relationships with staff, relatives and patients alike, you will be pivotal to its success. Working alongside our professional partners and other key stakeholders we will look to you to help to drive and evolve the services that we provide.

Being able to draw upon your previous management experience within a hospital and/or nursing setting, you will have sound operational and clinical knowledge. As part of the role you will be required to be registered with CQC and therefore must have experience in being able to meet The Fundamental Standards required to maintain CQC compliance along with the application of The Mental Health Act1983. You should also be a RN3, level 1 qualified nurse (RMN), holding an up to date NMC pin number and be able to provide evidence of your continued professional development

Shifts : The role itself is for 40 hours per week with an on-call requirement to meet the needs of the service
