Job Description

Location: Negotiable (to cover North, East and Mid Devon)

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday)

We’re inviting applications for the permanent role of (Nurse/Pharmacist) Independent Non-Medical Prescriber to enhance our busy, dynamic and innovative teams in East & Mid Devon and North Devon.

We’re looking for a highly motivated, dynamic and solution focussed individual that can therapeutically engage our service users in order that they can move through their recovery. Experience of working within substance misuse services is desirable but not essential, as our Clinical Leads are able to provide you with structured training and support.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to work within our community adult service. There are excellent opportunities for professional development through access to CPD, networked peer groups, regular clinical supervision, and fully supported appraisal and revalidation structures. Further opportunities also exist for clinicians to influence practice in their areas of interest and expertise. We support flexible working including new digital working arrangements where it offers improvements in the care of our service users.

As well as working for a leading South West charity which has an excellent reputation and expertise in substance misuse, you’ll also be based in a stunning county which has lower living costs, lower house prices, five areas of outstanding natural beauty, fast internet speeds and a capital city that has one of the fastest growing economies in the UK. If that wasn’t enough, how about an average of nearly 1750 hours of sunshine every year and 14 blue flag beaches on which to enjoy it?

If you would like to join our team, supporting service delivery and care to patients within the service, we would love to hear from you.
