Adult Critical Care Unit



The Adult Critical Care Unit is recruiting for a part-time (.8 WTE 30 hours per week) Band 7 Practice Development Senior Sister/Charge Nurse to join our highly motivated practice development team providing support and development to our nursing team.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the effective and efficient planning and delivery of the educational and developmental strategy for the ACCU at the Royal London Hospital. They will be expected to provide professional leadership within the education team and provide direction and inspirational leadership to all members of the multi-disciplinary team within the area for which they are accountable. The post holder will also be involved in the development of protocols / guidelines and patient information.

The post holder will practice at an advanced level with prior experience and proven ability in supporting and educating within a clinical environment. They will work with the practice development team to support and promote effective multi-disciplinary team education opportunities. Ideally the post holder will hold or be working toward obtaining a post graduate certificate in education.
