Together, working across all sites and operating a practised network of chemotherapy clinics we deliver a comprehensive range of inpatient care, advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy and other systemic anti-cancer therapies including gene therapies and immunotherapies. We are also the only facility in the UK providing low-energy proton beam therapy to treat rare eye cancers and host the region's Teenage and Young Adult Unit, (supported by the Teenage Cancer Trust).
As a result of our transformation plans an exciting opportunity has arisen to work on the Inpatient Ward here at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in the Integrated Care Directorate. As a nurse within our Directorate you will be able to develop your skills and knowledge in planned cancer care delivering chemotherapy and supporting brachytherapy, acute oncology emergency admission unit , complex care for patients with side effects of cancer treatment, caring for young adults 16-24 in the Teenage Young Adult unit, and Acute care Step Up beds.

We are looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills and evidence of continuing professional development. Experience in Oncology nursing, cannulation, venepuncture and central line care are desirable for this post. However our experienced nursing staff can support and help develop newly qualified nurses in their first post as a registered nurse.

The Integrated Care Directorate is forever developing, our staff have presented nationally and internationally on the services we provide and as a Directorate there are many opportunities for development within the nursing role.

If you want to be part of a fantastic team and help support the Trust with our vision for providing the best cancer care in the country, then we want to hear from you.
