The Hospital in Glasgow is Scotland’s largest private hospital with 101 beds, 6 operating theatres, a 5-bay endoscopy suite and 22 consulting rooms. They are the only private hospital in Scotland with a level 3 intensive care unit (5 beds) and provide a wide range of treatments from routine investigations to complex surgery across many specialties. Eye Care Scotland, our dedicated ophthalmic suite, also offers treatments and surgical options for 11 sub-specialties within Ophthalmology and our 11 bed day chemotherapy unit provides Systematic Anti-Cancer Treatment (SACT) and supporting medications and is fully accredited with the MacMillan Quality Environment Mark which aims to set the highest possible standards for cancer care environments.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and committed Infection Prevention & Control Lead to join a fantastic team of staff in their Nursing department.

As a qualified practitioner with NMC registration you will use your skills and knowledge to work well within a team, adopting a flexible and collaborative approach at all times. If you are an enthusiastic, highly motivated Registered Nurse with proven skills in Infection Control you will find a place to thrive.

Successful candidate will be an experienced Registered Nurse with Post graduate qualification in Infection Prevention and Control required to lead and direct the IPC agenda and provide strategic direction for the other 3 sites in Scotland aligned to Scottish National Guidance and Legislation.

This is a full time post and there is a flexible shift pattern in place.
