Paediatric Staff Nurse - Emergency Department (A&E)

We currently have vacancies for nurses with at least 12 months experience in our Children's Emergency Department for autumn 2020 start date. Permanent and 6 months fixed term contract opportunities are available.

Our standalone Children's Emergency Department treats approximately 40,000 children per year. We have a 5 bedded resuscitation area with a 12 cubicle within or majors area we also have 4 fast flow for our minor injuries. As the paediatric major trauma centre for the south west of England we regularly receive patients by air ambulance .

We are currently holding interviews virtually with an option for an informal phone call first.

The ideal candidate for the role will:
  • Be able to develop their clinical skills and participate in continuing their professional development
  • Have experience in solving problems and using their initiative
  • Be able to communicate and work together in a multidisciplinary team
  • Have experience in triage or resuscitation.
