On behalf of a small, family-run care company based in the North West I am recruiting for a fantastic small Nursing Home in Bacup which is looking for a new Home Manager.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday in a 25 bedded Nursing Home specialising in elderly and dementia care. The current CQC report is rated "GOOD" and the provider is looking for a strong individual to maintain and develop this.
The home itself is very settled with a strong team and a great reputation in the local area. Their focus is to ensure that as a care provider they provide the highest standards of care to their residents.
Candidates can be either Nurse or Non-Nurse qualified. The salary for candidates with an active NMC PIN starts at £35,000 per annum and for Non-Nurse this is £30,000 per annum. The company also offers a great bonus scheme based upon occupancy of up to £2,600 a year paid quarterly.
My client is seeking a strong and experienced individual with drive and commitment who is seeking a new exciting position. The ideal candidate will have managerial experience and good leadership skills. A sound knowledge of CQC standards and regulations is essential as the Director wants to maintain the high standards of care provided in all of their homes.

Duties will include;
Overall responsibility of the home
Desired Skills and Experience;
Preferably 2+ years of managerial experience
NVQ Level 4 or 5 Qualification - (Desirable but not essential)
Active NMC PIN
Sound knowledge of CQC standards and regulations
High level of written and spoken English
