It's an exciting time to join us: KMPT has been rated Outstanding for Caring and Good overall in our most recent CQC inspection in January 2019! We are delighted to announce that KMPT have opened a Mother and Baby Unit (MBU) serving the population of Kent, Surrey and Sussex, situated in Dartford. Working closely with NHS England, the aim is to improve the access and quality of perinatal mental health services across the counties. We are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 registered Mental Health staff nurses who are committed to delivering high quality patient care. You will be working closely with a multidisciplinary team within the MBU and provide a high quality 24\/7 inpatient service for mothers experiencing acute perinatal mental health issues and their babies. You must be an NMC registered RMN\/RN (Mental Health) with a keen interest in perinatal mental health as well as experience of working within an acute mental health setting. If you have experience of working in a perinatal mental health setting, this would be advantageous. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside professionals offering a therapeutic input as well as wider community teams.
