Advanced Nurse Practitioner - Mental Health

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen within the First Response service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Advance Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to join our First Response Service.

Our First Response Service offers support 24 hours a day, seven days a week to people of all ages living in Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven experiencing a mental health crisis. Accessed through a single phone number people in crisis can ring for help and support from trained staff who can identify the appropriately course of action.

The successful candidate will provide clinical and managerial leadership to the First Response team and provide clinical support and leadership out of hours to mental health services within the community. You will be providing advice and leadership on clinical risk and mental health assessments, completeformulations, caring planning and prescribing for people requiring mental health treatment and/or support within the community. You will also complete face to face assessments and telephone assessments of individuals presenting in heightened states of distress and complex Mental Health needs

You will be working closely with other mental health services and agencies, such as the CMHT's, West Yorkshire Police, West Yorkshire Ambulance service, the Voluntary care sector, social workers, CAMH's and Older people's services.
