Salary: £30,401 - £37,267 per annum/pro rata

We are recruiting for a Clinical Sister / Charge Nurse who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
Lawrence Ward provides high quality, individualised care to cancer patients and their carers.
We care for haemato-oncology, acutely unwell patients and deliver chemotherapy and supportive treatments to cancer patients, it is a 19 bedded ward consisting of 12 side rooms and 2 bay areas.
Lawrence Ward works in partnership with Galton Day Unit, which is part of the Macmillan Cancer Unit which provides a relaxed and comfortable environment for patients and their carers.
The successful post holder will be expected to provide clinical leadership of patients and support the junior members of the team
We are keen to provide development opportunities for our staff and have recently adopted the UKONS/RCN/HEA career and education framework for Cancer Nursing to support you through your academic and professional development.

Registered Nurses who possess the valuable skills to care for patients with cancer, with previous experience in either Oncology or Haematology are desirable, along with phlebotomy and cannulation skills, with an SACT qualification.
As part of our ongoing commitment to professional development we are offering a number of apprenticeships and training opportunities in Leadership and Management, Business Services, Finance, Accounting and HR, Clinical Support Work, Research and Innovation, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner alongside our in-house comprehensive clinical pathways.
The Trust has also engaged with the renowned Henley Business School to be able to offer MBA, MA,BA, Executive Education, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
