Division: Unplanned & Integrated Care
Care Group: Urgent and Emergency Care
Band: 5
Salary: £24,214 - £30,112 per annum / pro rata

As a department we manage the care for over Apply patients per year, or up to 150 ambulance arrivals per day.
To meet this challenge we are increasing our nursing workforce, investing in their professional development and rebuilding our Emergency Department; all of which will improve the patient experience and the working lives of our workforce.

Working in a modern ED can be stressful and challenging; you will be to be resilient and hard working.
We aim to deliver evidence-based and innovative care to our patients. This has recently resulted in us being Highly Commended by the British Medical Journal for our pathways and improved outcomes.
We provide a structured 18-month preceptorship programme for experienced and newly qualified nurses. Following this you will have access to either undertake a BSc or MSc in Emergency Nursing.
As part of our ongoing commitment to professional development we are offering a number of apprenticeships and training opportunities in Leadership and Management, Business Services, Finance, Accounting and HR, Clinical Support Work, Research and Innovation, Nursing Associate and Assistant Practitioner alongside our in-house comprehensive clinical pathways.
The Trust has also engaged with the renowned Henley Business School to be able to offer MBA, MA,BA, Executive Education, Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes.
