At Newham University Hospital we can provide an 18 month Preceptorship programme and There are opportunities for progression in banding and we actively encourage professional development and support courses that are relevant to the clinical area and can benefit patients.
Newham serves one of the most diverse populations in the country and we are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and skilled nurse to join our team of dedicated staff. We are a fast moving Day surgical ward aiming to provide gold standard care to patients having undergone Urology and General Surgical procedures so there is a vast amount of skills to be learnt. We also offer an opportunity to apply for the 18 month surgical rotation program following successful completion of Preceptorship program where experience and skills can be gained.
Ward Nurses for the service play an exciting role supporting junior members of the team, combining clinical expertise, autonomy and communication skills. The successful candidates will ensure the delivery of high standards of patient centred care within an acute surgical ward. This role will be supported by Junior sisters, Ward Manager, Practice Development Nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialists.
