Job Description

Days & Night Shifts: 24 or 36 hr contracts offered.

We are recruiting for a Registered Nurse to provides a warm and welcoming environment for older people and for those who are too frail or ill to continue living in their own home.

The Centre is a 146 bedded care home with nursing and provides care, accommodation and support for older people and younger adults, people who are living with dementia, people with mental health needs, people with complex neurological conditions, people with physical disabilities and people with learning disabilities.

Due to the size and scope of the business, they require registered nurses who can be flexible with shift patterns (mixture of days, rotational nights and weekends) they do not contract to fixed shift patterns. They can accommodate regular night shifts, however induction training and early probation period must be undertaken during day duty to ensure statutory training requirements are met as well as performance assessment by the manager.

Responsibilities for the Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN) include:

Assess residents’ health and well-being across a difficult and changing caseload

Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals’ health and well-being needs

Provide and receive sensitive or contentious information

Promote and develop best practice as a Registered Nurse

Assist in maintaining and developing robust and compliant services

Contribute to quality improvement

Promote people's equality, diversity and rights

Apply clinical reasoning skills to all scenarios.

In order to be considered for this role:

Have a Registered General Nurse or Mental Health Qualification (RGN / RMN)

Have an active PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN

Have a clear DBS.
