Care Quality and Compliance Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to oversee and drive quality across a portfolio of 7 Nursing and Residential Care Homes that specialise in the provision of high quality general nursing, residential and dementia care.

This is a peripatetic role and will require travel across all the services which are based in Surrey, Warrington, Hereford and Mid Wales.

As Quality and Compliance Manager you will;

Contribute effectively as a member of the senior management team within the organisation

Work with Care Home Manager's to create action plans, advise on best practice and ensure CQC compliance.

Conduct internal audits across all services in order to ensure that high standards of care are maintained.

Oversee the clinical aspects for the company.

Support the Director of Care Operations and Home Managers in meeting demands of the business

Review and /implement operational policies and procedures

Review clinical audits/improvement plans

Conduct detailed audits of resident care files, including review of judgments made about individuals' care needs

We are inviting applications for the Quality and Compliance Manager post from candidates who have;

Experience as a compliance, turnaround, quality or regional manager

Extensive experience managing nursing homes.

Active NMC Registration.

Proven track record of effective people management.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of CQC standards and regulations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills ·

A Professional, confident, caring and enthusiastic approach.

The ability to lead, supervise and motivate staff

Flexibility and able to work across different sites

A Full, clean, UK driving licence and access to your own car

The position offers a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum.
