Job Description
Band 6 Senior Staff Nurse – T13 South GI Medicine
An exciting opportunity has arisen for experienced full time band 6 to come and join us on T13 south at University College London Hospital. Candidates should be able to demonstrate excellent clinical and leadership skills, the willingness to deputize as the nurse in charge on a regular basis and the vision to further develop their career in an exciting and busy environment. Excellent communication skills are essential, as is the ability to deal empathetically with patients and their families.
T13 south is within the GI Division. It is a 20 bed inpatient nutrition ward and long stay patients. The Ward specializes in the following areas Gastroenterology, Hepato Pancreato Biliary, Hepatology and Luminal Medicine we also care for patients requiring parental nutrition and Clinical Pharmology
At UCLH you will find a supportive nursing and multidisciplinary team. Your professional development is encouraged. Opportunities exist to undertake degree pathways, and a variety of in house courses. Successful candidates must have proven post registration experience and should have a mentorship qualification.
