There is an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiasticregistered stafflooking for a leadership role in Older People's inpatient care on Cranmer Ward, a 15 bedded acute assessment ward located at St martins Hospital, Canterbury
You must have post-registration experience including working with older adults and have completed mentorship training to be able to mentor students.
You must also be able to support the needs of people who are diagnosed with dementia, their relatives and carers. This requires excellent communication and liaison skills.
You will also have excellent interpersonal skills to manage and supervise staff effectively. You will be working with a wide range of experienced and friendly professionals, all with an interest in dementia care and providing high quality of care and compassion. In return we offer regular clinical supervision and management supervision.

As part of the Band 6 Nursing team you will be required to attain a mentoring qualification.
