Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse - Oncology Outpatients to join a private medical facility based in London.

Job Summary:

To be responsible for the delivery of high standards of care and service to the patients and to work within a team to provide assessment and evaluation of care in keeping with:

  • The NMC Code
  • Compassion in Practice (DOH 2012)
  • The Clinic Policies and Protocols

Skills and Requirements:


  • Registered Nurse
  • Intensive Care Course
  • Intermediate Life Support Certificate
  • Mentorship Course
  • Management /leadership qualification
  • Physical Assessment Course
  • Advanced Life Support
  • Paediatric Basic Life Support


  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Senior Staff Nurse in Intensive Care settings
  • Ongoing experience of supervising and mentoring new starters/students
  • Experience in policy development and implementation
  • Experience in conducting clinical audits


  • Sound theoretical knowledge base for acute nursing, including haemodynamic monitoring & respiratory support, including high flow oxygen therapy (Optiflow)
  • Comprehensive knowledge on the Management of patient's with PCA and Epidural
  • Evidence of recent professional development
  • Implementation and evaluation of clinical audit initiatives


  • Demonstrate high standards of clinical practice in acute nursing
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Strategy and objectives setting
  • Proven ability to balance competing demands on time and prioritise workload
  • Positive role model with a robust approach to problem solving
  • Familiar with healthcare IT systems and proficient user of Microsoft Office software's (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Dedicated with passion for delivering exceptional care with high levels of professionalism and enthusiasm
