Unit Manager Nurse RGN/RMN
Salary: £20 per hour
I am seeking a Unit Manager to support in the day to day running of this medium sized Nursing Home based in the Winsford area. The company are a large charity organisation who are ethical and supportive and provide on-going training and support to all their employees. The specialise in providing bespoke care to the elderly and people living with dementia. They also provide services for those with mental health needs and learning disabilities. This is a position within one of their Elderly Nursing Homes, to support the senior leadership team in the day to day running of this excellent Nursing Home.
The successful Unit Manager will be exposed to bespoke training and development opportunities where you can successfully progress your career. This is a very attractive and competitive hourly rate and an opportunity not to be missed! You will be responsible for managing a small Unit within the Home, and be integral in the day to day running of the Nursing Home.
The successful Unit Manager will support an experienced Nursing Home Manager in the everyday running of this fantastic Nursing Home. You will assist in the training and recruitment of staff, taking the lead on shift and staff appraisals.
You will have excellent clinical skills and strong people management skills. Experience Required of the Unit Manager:
•The Unit Manager will have experience of working in a Nursing Home setting in a senior or managerial capacity.
•You will have experience of leading teams of nurses/ carers.
•You will have an excellent understanding of safe guarding procedures and CQC regulations.
•You will have fantastic and up to date clinical skills.
•The successful Unit Manager will also be a Registered Nurse with Current NMC PIN (RGN or RMN).
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
•Nurse qualified RGN / RMN active PIN no restrictions.
•Experience at senior level, Senior Nurse, Clinical Lead, Deputy Home Manager, or Unit Manager.
•Excellent communication skills a people person.
•NVQ level 5 (or working towards).
