We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mental Health Sister or Charge Nurse to join our client's senior team team at their Secure Rehabilitation Mental Health Unit situated in St Neots , on the A1 motorway on the border of Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire.
There are male and female-specific wards; this is a full-time post but we are also also open to hearing from applicants who may be interested in negotiating a part-time opportunity.
Our client is a major provider of UK independent mental health care; working to improve patients' health and wellbeing by offering outstanding healthcare services, and in particular by developing programmes of care which are individually tailored to patients' specific needs.
The successful candidate will take a holistic approach which puts patients at the centre of decision-making, enabling them to develop new skills and to be gradually reintegrated into the community.
Person requirements :
A Registered Mental Health Nurse with full NMC registration.
Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
Minimum of two years experience including current or recent at Senior Staff Nurse level, including taking charge of the Unit.
