Job Description

Ashdown is a 6 Bedded Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit for Male adults over the age of 18, with severe and complex mental health conditions we pride ourselves in delivering high standards of evidence based care and are committed to the principles of reducing restrictive practices.

We are looking to appoint Registered Mental Health nurses at Band 5 with a keen interest in inpatient care and crisis management.

We are able to provide a comprehensive Preceptorship package for newly qualified RMN's and have opportunities for experienced staff to undertake specialist link roles of particular interest and develop their clinical skills to enhance career progression.

The successful candidate will be able to develop leadership and clinical practice skills and will require a high standard of communication and organisational ability. You will be motivated to help develop inpatient care to CQC and NAPICU standards, working alongside an established multi disciplinary team.

The post holder will be required to work within a range of day and night shifts although all shift patterns will be considered.
