Job Description

Here at Spire Hull & East Riding we are looking for Theatre Practitioners to join our team in Scrub.
Spire Hull & East Riding Hospital is a private hospital based in Anlaby, Hull, East Yorkshire. We provide a range of services and procedures including orthopaedic, general surgery, weight loss surgery, eye surgery and cosmetic surgery. We are able to offer a range of cardiac investigations and treatments from exercise ECG to diagnostic angiography, while our intensive care unit allows us to care for patients undergoing coronary bypass and heart valve replacement surgery.

Duties and responsibilities
The Hospital covers a wide variety of surgical procedures such as Orthopaedics, ENT and plastics, you will support in assessing patient's health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload, assisting in the delivery of care to meet the patient's needs. You will actively promote best practice and contribute towards quality improvements, collect collate and organise data, interpret all of the information and make a justifiable assessment, making this available to relevant others.
You will also develop a working environment and culture that actively improves health, safety and security and infection control, lead others in the development of knowledge, ideas and work practices and plan, allocate, assess and provide feedback to team members.

Who we are looking for
You will be a Registered Nurse/Operating Department Practitioner and you will be comfortable working in a team and with minimum supervision. We welcome applications from Student Nurses and ODPs. A bespoke preceptorship package can be designed around any successful graduate worried about transitioning onto the register for the first time.
