We are recruiting for a Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse who shares our ambition and vision to deliver the Best of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
The Senior Sister / Senior Charge Nurse will work in partnership with a team of highly skilled Consultants and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners who work collaboratively to deliver high quality care to our small patients and their families. We also have close links with Kings College Hospital who provide surgical input for our babies when required. The Kent part of the transport services for London, Kent, Surrey and Sussex is also based with us.
Our level three unit currently has capacity for 12 intensive/high dependency cots and 16 special care cots. We also have a transitional care unit which can accommodate up to eight babies.
The successful post holder will be expected to have proven clinical and managerial experience, effective communication skills.
In addition, you will need to have the ability to provide direction and give inspirational leadership to all members of the multi professional team.
