Applications are sought from experienced cardiovascular nurses who enjoy working at the forefront of cardiovascular care in a role that combines the challenging mix of patient contact and clinical research activities. The cardiovascular division is a thriving department with a wide variety of research projects being undertaken.
Working as part of the research nurse team you will promote trials and facilitate high quality research incorporating Good Clinical Practice. Responsibilities include identifying eligible patients, supporting and monitoring patients throughout the research project; collecting data and maintaining accurate and comprehensive records.
We are looking for nurses with substantial post registration cardiovascular and research experience. Candidates will need excellent communication skills, good organisational skills and IT skills. Applicants will also need to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
