We are looking for newly qualified and experienced nurses to join our team
This is a part time post covering 32 hours per week, these hours will not form a set shift pattern and will be worked flexibly according to the needs of the service
Our busy Outpatient Department is seeking enthusiastic highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who have the ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Outpatient services are growing, and there has never been a better time to join our team and develop your nursing career. We are searching for a person who is passionate about patient care with the enthusiasm and drive to help in the Trusts' quest to take the busy outpatient services at either St Helier or Epsom Hospital forward into the future. You must have excellent communication skills and adapt to different situations as they arise
The ability to support more junior staff is an essential part of the role. You must be committed to improving the patient experience and ensuring the high standards that we expect for our patients are met
You will be required to provide and support a wide range of specialist services within the outpatient areas, working both as part of a team and autonomously. There is a requirement to rotate through all the clinic types, which will help you develop your knowledge of nursing across a variety of specialities, and be given the opportunity to gain new skills. Training and support will be provided as appropriate
As well as taking charge of their own individual clinic, the applicant may be asked to take charge of the department or one of the Outpatient units in the absence of a Sister. As an area that has student placements you must be able to mentor students and participate in the continued professional development of the area.
You will be required to be flexible in being able to support some evening, weekend and BH shifts, and be able to support adult outpatient services across the Trust as required.
