Safewell is an innovative and leading occupational Health and Safety company based in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a new Occupational Health Adviser (full or part-time) and an Occupational Health Technical with the right mix of technical skills, professional expertise and a friendly, approachable personality.

About the job:
Working with a variety of customers from different sectors, the Occupational Health Adviser delivers a full range of services both a clients’ sites and from the office, including:
• Health surveillance (e.g. lung function and audiometry tests)
• HAVS health surveillance
• Sickness Absence
• Case Management, such as developing return to work strategies and rehabilitation programmes and advising on disability issues in the workplace
• Writing Occupational Health reports
• Rehabilitation and Health Education programmes
With support, you will manage your own calendar and caseload to deliver a professional and comprehensive Occupational Health Service to key clients.
You will also produce statistical reports on activities, as well as maintaining secure medical records on behalf of customers. Confidentiality and accuracy are critical in this role. You will also need strong interpersonal skills to be able to feed back issues and risks to individuals at all levels in an organisation, from senior management to shop floor staff, as well as liaising with key contacts such as GPs, specialists, HR departments and employee assistance programmes.
We will consider applications from candidates looking for either full or part-time work (at least 2 full days).
The ideal candidate will:
• Be a qualified registered nurse
• Have an Occupational Health Certificate, Diploma or Degree (or willing to train)
• Have experience of working alone at different customer sites
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Full UK driving licence and own transport
• Ideally have experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Ideally have a Health and Safety qualification, such as NEBOSH
The full-time salary is circa £28,000 to £30,000 (pro rata for part time) depending on qualifications and experience, plus bonus and expenses.
