As part of the redesign of unplanned mental health services in Doncaster, we are able to offer a rare opportunity for motivated professionals to join Doncaster Home Treatment Team.
The role is to support the assessment and implementation of intensive care and treatment in the homes of people with mental health issues as an alternative to hospital admission. The team operates 365 days a year and covers the whole of the Doncaster locality working shifts to ensure continuity for clients and their carers.
We are looking to appoint skilled practitioners who are keen to embrace new ideas, believe in valuing and empowering people, are committed to delivering caring safe services and put service users and carer's at the heart of everything they do.
The successful applicants will have a passion and desire to work intensively with individuals who are acutely unwell during a relapse of their mental health, within the community. You will also work alongside their family, carers and wider care teams. A recovery and strength based focus and a passion for delivering evidence based treatment is therefore essential.
The post will require individuals to work alongside partner organisations, third sector and peer support services therefore transparency and openness is vital.
Newly qualified staff can apply and are able to take up the post on a 9 month rotation with acute inpatients as part of their development.
