Adult Acute Inpatient Services - Hallam Street Hospital, Sandwell
Staff Nurse - RMN and RNLD
Band 5 -£24,214 to £30,112 Per Annum
Full time and part time, permanent positions
Newly Qualified are welcome to apply

Staff Nurse Positions have arisen at Hallam Street Hospital, Sandwell. We currently have RMN and RNLD vacancies for motivated individuals that want to work in dynamic and fast paced environments. We want staff that support our core values: honesty and transparency, integrity, empowerment, compassion and kindness, and dignity and respect.
Hallam Street Hospital has 3 x 18 bedded acute wards with split male / female environments. It is supported by a well equipped Resource Centre, including a dedicated OT area with a music room, kitchen, gym and multi-purpose room.
Both sites are supported by established multi-disciplinary teams, including experienced nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists, physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and support staff. We also have great links with local charities and housing services.
Opportunities are available for rotation between inpatient units and you will have access to Trust training to support your continuing professional development. We have a close relationship with local universities, effective staffing levels and provide a comprehensive preceptorship programme.
The Mental Health division is small enough to allow development of close contacts between different services and the Trust is involved in partnership with fellow Mental Health Trusts. We are part of MERIT Vanguard, one of 4 Mental Health Trusts in the West Midlands working together to develop new ways of working to improve the way mental health services are provided. We are the only group of Mental Health Trusts working together this way. We want to focus on proactive early intervention and care, rather than reactive crisis management.
The Trust offers a range of benefits to employees including coaching, Bike to Work scheme, car lease and NHS discounts. Both sites have access to free parking.
Sandwell is in the heart of the Black Country with excellent transport links, affordable housing, good technological infrastructure and affordable living costs. Both sites are located next to Sandwell Valley Country Park an award winning Green Flag park offering immediate access to the great outdoors.
Both services are part of the Black Country Partnership Foundation Trust, providing health and well-being services for people of all ages across the Black Country. In Sandwell and Wolverhampton, we care for and support people of all ages who have mental health needs. We provide a range of specialist health services for people with learning disabilities in Dudley, Walsall, Sandwell and Wolverhampton and also provide community healthcare services for children, young people and families in Dudley.
Candidates are welcome to visit prior to interview. Please contact Helen Rote, Apply/ 8667.
